Analyses of the Ire 8 genome

Below are the results of globe4, globe13, and MDLP World-22 analyses of the Ire 8 genome.

Ajvide and Ire were both settlements of the Pitted Ware culture on the Swedish island of Gotland. Ajvide was in Eksta parish, in the southwest of the island, and Ire was in Hangvar parish, in the northwest of the island.

There were fewer SNPs for Ire 8 than for Ajvide 52 and 70, so there may be more error in these results.

Like Ajvide 52 and 70, Ire 8 was predominantly Aryan, with some Mediterranean admixture, and some archaic admixture showing up as Negroid admixture. Like Ajvide 52, Ire 8 had some vestigial Veddoid DNA. And like Ajvide 70, Ire 8 had some Cro-Magnon admixture.

The appearance of the Indianid component in the globe4 results and the Eskimid component in the globe13 and World-22 results is due to the proto-Aryan admixture in Indianids and Eskimids.

A significant amount of the East-Sibirid component also shows up in the World-22 results. The people with the largest amount of the East-Sibirid component are the Koryaks. The proto-Aryan P haplogroup has a frequency of 18.5% in the Koryaks. The people with the second-largest amount of the East-Sibirid component are the Chukchis. The Chukchis are 20.8% P, 15.5% Q, and 4.2% R1a. So East-Sibirids do have proto-Aryan and Aryan admixture, which may account for the appearance of the East-Sibirid component in the World-22 results.
